Dr. Alan Bauman
Grey Team Medical Director
Dr. Alan Bauman received his Medical Doctor degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY and had internship and residency training in surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center and Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan before specializing in hair transplant surgery and the treatment of hair loss.
Dr. Bauman provides complementary hair restoration services for qualified veterans who received minimal to severe scalp burns in combat. He is also the lead clinical researcher in Grey Team’s Photobiomodulation (low level laser therapy), as well as many other cutting-edge holistic therapies.
Dr. Mark Gordon
Traumatic Brain Injury Expert
Dr. Mark Gordon is one of the leading neurological experts in the fields of military PTSD and TBI.His volunteer work with Grey Team and the United States military is groundbreaking, as his nutraceutical approach to reducing brain inflammation has produced unprecedented success.
With over 35 years of research using combinations of natural ingredients to address memory, mental energy, and cognition as well as physical performance, he has been instrumental as a thought leader in developing the area of Interventional Endocrinology and now the area of Neuroendocrinology as it pertains to TBI with depression, anxiety, bipolar, obsessive-compulsive disorders, dementia, Parkinson’s, GTE, and post-concussion syndrome.
Dr. Syed Asad MD
Grey Team Medical Advisor
Dr. Asad proudly served as a Captain in the US Army Medical Corp from 2001 through 2008. With over 25 years of experience as an expert in Neurological Medicine, Board Certified in Traumatic brain injury by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Asad has served as Medical Director for the Eisenhower Center in Jacksonville, Fl, since 2017, a traumatic brain injury rehab facility mainly catering to retired professional athletes and military veterans.
He served as an independent neuro-trauma consultant to the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL football team from 2011 through 2014. and continues today to serve as a Neurological Specialist for the team. As such, Dr. Asad is uniquely qualified to help determine healing protocols for Grey Team’s injured US Military service members.
Dr. Sreedhar Chintala, MD
Grey Team Medical Advisor
Dr. Sreedhar Chintala, MD has over 14 years as a critical care medicine specialist. He completed his residency at the prestigious Jacobi Medical Center’s Albert Einstein School of Medicine, and the Montefiore Medical Center – Moses Division, in New York City.
As an immigrant to the United States of America, he developed a deep respect and admiration for the United States Military, choosing to volunteer his skill in critical care to benefit our nation’s veterans. As one of Grey Team’s earliest collaborators and advisors, he tirelessly donated his time, knowledge, and resources to elevate our wounded heroes, showing compassion, integrity, and honor to those he felt were underserved by their circumstances.
Dr. Derek A. Woessner, MD
Grey Team Medical Advisor
Lt Colonel Derek A. Woessner, MD, FAAFP, specializes in sports medicine, concussion management, and non-surgical orthopedics.
Following his residency at the Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning, GA, Dr. Woessner was selected to serve as a special operations physician for the 3rd Ranger Battalion. During Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, he completed several combat tours and was awarded the Bronze Star.
Dr. Woessner is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, and the Society of US Army Flight Surgeons,
Dr. Francisco Cidral, PhD
Grey Team Medical Advisor
Dr. Francisco Cidral holds a Bachelor’s in Naturopathy, specialization in Chinese Medicine, Master’s and PhD in Neuroscience, and Post-Doctorate in Health Sciences.
Dr. Cidral is a major contributor to the field of Integrative and Complementary therapies, with an emphasis on Low-Level Light Therapy, a.k.a. photobiomodulation.
Dr. Cidral has been working on the scientific research and development of innovative health and wellness devices that promote physical and mental health, and well-being in a non-invasive and non-pharmacological approach, such as brainwave entrainment, thus making him uniquely qualified to advise on Grey Team’s nonpharmaceutical wellness interventions.
Grey Team's Medical Advisory Board Priorities
The primary responsibility of Grey Team’s Veteran Committee is to:
- Provides advice and guidance on healthcare innovation policies;
- Advocates for improving the veteran medical system to local, state, and federal health institutions;
- Ensures meaningful veteran participation in health policy decisions;
- Engages veterans and promotes community input innovation, planning, and implementation.
